Getting Your Business presence out there - is up to YOU

Most business owners  know how important referral business works (word of mouth) it is a great resource to your business. Problem being is knowing  how can you get it operating in an efficient manner ?
Sometimes it happens naturally with no input from yourself other than the way you operate, but this will probably take a LONG time.
If you want to be successful, don't wait, winners generally take the initiative into their own hands.
It's extremely important to remind people of the importance of feedback and referrals to any business

The quickest way to generate this is to simply talk with your customers.
  • A Question is to "Ask your clients if they have seen the last review you were given....
  • If you let your clients know that you have plenty of reviews and you  love getting reviews, it will send a message to them and the possibility they may actually give you a review as well.

When a new customer has made it to your door, ask
"have you seen our customer reviews?"
  • If they have, it reveals to you that those reviews are working for you.
  • If they haven't, you are demonstrating that they have made the right decision by coming to a great business and that you excel in customer service

By asking for Recommendations or Reviews every time a sale is complete you will ....
  • Get into the habit of obtaining critical information about the performance of your business, simply ask
          "How was everything today"?
  • Problems that may arise will be discovered right here, right now and will be solved at the time
  • If your Customer/Client is happy, it's  time to say something like "Awesome we try very hard to please, because it's important to our business. Could you possibly write a review for us on line?"
  • Now is the time to give them your instruction Flyer for "Reviewing Us Online" (not all will review but if you ask everyone
you will soon build up a great list of reviews) Google Local ranks reviews as well.
  • If it's obviously too much a daunting task, you could alternatively Ask
"Would you know anyone else that you think could benefit from our services?"

Now I understand where you're coming from but,   "Don't be shy!"
  • It's so easy to be coy about putting "tickets on yourself" it feels like "blowing your own trumpet!"
    What a lot of garbage!
  •  If you don't do it who else will? If they do, they will expect to be paid for it
    It's called advertising
  • The fact is:- by asking for a review it makes your client / customer feel important and they will like your business
    even more so
  • It gives them the assurance that they have made the right decision by dealing with you

Go Ahead try it out on the next 10 customers and record your findings
Most importantly thank them for the review, it trebles the effect, people feel important to your business.
You are simply telling your customers that you care about their experience and you are interested in their feedback

How to find out What is About Blogging in 2020

13/3/2020

What is a blog?

Picture
A blog is a nerdy word, abbreviated from the word "weblog" it's basically a diary.
Each Blog entry is a page that stands alone (like a journal entry/post) on a website platform.
Blogs are used to display interesting information about the website topics and or it's owner.
The posts or entries sit in reverse chronological order meaning the last post sits on top being displayed first .

Some say that's it's a platform where a writer or even a group of writers share the ideas and interest in a particular subject. I disagree, in that the website is the platform it's here that the blog post is displayed, it's an article within a website.

Why have Blogs at all

Picture
The Blogging system has developed as a place of authority, here the best of the best share information. Google sees this as a third party acceptance of that fact.
When people are attracted to your Blog post via your website it is seen not only by Google but hundreds of other search engines.
With this attraction to your website you automatically become seen as an authority and the vehicle used your Website, will be rising higher than those that don't have the visits.

What's In A Blog Post

Picture
The Topic of a post needs to be interesting enough to your audience that they keep reading and returning.
Content of blog posts could be real life stories around your website topic.
It should include images, video if possible and links to further information about topic.

Clarifying your Blog

Picture
We have two areas of concern here bringing rise to confusion.
Firstly many regard the Blog sites as an individual websites purley for the purpose of Blogging and yes that is true.
Secondly the confusion comes when people get the content of the blog site, ie the posts or journal entries mixed up with the actual site itself.
You hear people talk about their Blog when in actual fact they are talking about the content of the site.
Basically a blog post is the content of a website, it can be a single page of the website having categories or  a dedicated blogging website that is dedicated to solely to blog posts.

Naming your Blog - Site

Picture
Having a name for your Blog site is less important than having a great name the the Blog itself.
If your Blog entry title used words that people are likely to type in search engines to find what you are talking about, then your blog would be to  found in no time at all.  How to type titles are always in demand and searchable resulting great success.

Do I Need a Template for a Blog

Picture
Remember, your Blog’s design should reflect both your website and your personality, but also what the blog is about.
There’s no point having a football-orientated theme if your blog is about tennis, understand? Generally I'd say be yourself and you will create great articles for your Blog posts Month in Month out.
What comes from the heart usually is great reading no matter what the topic.
Remembering the idea is to get people to your website through interesting articles.

How to get people to Read my Blogs

Picture
Generally Social media like YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter along with directories like Yelp, WOMO, Start Local  are all great places to send out trailers or teaser posts to read more of your Blog post. These pre posts to your Blog post are leaders they need to be eye catching super interesting to entice people to click read more even if they don't have time.  Generally a full  blown blog post on Facebook of many words will not get read!
People will just keep on scrolling down in oblivium satisfying there need for *Dopamine.

*
Dopamine is known as the feel-good neurotransmitter—a chemical that ferries information between neurons. The brain releases it when we eat food that we crave or while we have sex, contributing to feelings of pleasure and satisfaction as part of the reward system. Playing poker machine or spending endless hours scrolling down Facebook page looking for that chuckle or recognition.

Interesting thoughts on Cinema viewing

Eating Pop corn during Cinema pre-show,  Effects info Retention

Picture
Thanks to Wikipedia Image
A curious fact for March 29, 2015 from Justin Kitch, Curious CEO

Eating popcorn in the cinema may be irritating not just for fellow movie goers, but for advertisers: a group of researchers from Cologne University has concluded that chewing makes us immune to film advertising.

The reason why adverts manage to imprint brand names on our brains is that our lips and the tongue automatically simulate the pronunciation of a new name when we first hear it. Every time we re-encounter the name, our mouth subconsciously practises its pronunciation.

However, according to the study published in the Journal of ConsumerPsychology, this "inner speech" can be disturbed by chewing, rendering the repetition effect redundant.

For their experiment, the researchers invited a group of 96 people to a cinema to watch a movie preceded by a series of adverts. Half of the participants were given free popcorn throughout the session, the other half only received a small sugar cube which immediately dissolved in their mouths.

A test at the end of the screening showed that the adverts had left no effect on those viewers who had chewed their way through popcorn throughout, while the other participants showed positive psychological responses to the products they had encountered in the ads.

"The mundane activity of eating popcorn made participants immune to the pervasive effects of advertising," said Sascha Topolinski, one of the researchers.

He goes as far as implying that his research may spell the end of the traditional popcorn machine in cinema foyers. "This finding suggests that selling candy in cinemas actually undermines advertising effects, which contradicts present marketing strategies. In the future, when promoting a novel brand, advertising clients might consider trying to prevent candy being sold before the main movie."
